This practical course will help you to understand why email marketing offers the highest ROI, build an email list and design effective campaigns, avoid spam filters and improve deliverability, analyse simple performance data and optimise campaigns for higher engagement.

For 6 weeks, you will be guided step-by-step through the main 7 steps to establish a profitable revenue channel for your business. This is a hands-on course, so you will implement all the things you will learn. Course outline

In this email marketing course for beginners, you will learn and implement the next 7 steps:

  • Choose a platform for your email marketing
  • Open & setup account and build a compliance and safety framework (e.g., GDPR, opt-in)
  • Setup email tracking (Google Analytics + UTM tracking)
  • Create your first list
  • Create email templates
  • Build your content plan
  • Know your numbers – Learn, monitor & optimise your key metrics (KPIs)

Course outcome

By the end of the 6-week course, you will have your email account configured and set up in line with the compliance rules. You will create an email template and start building your customer list. You will know what content to include in your emails and will have your content plan for the next 6 months. You will also build your email tracking and key metrics reporting and will be ready to send your first email campaign. If you have a customer list, you could have your first sales from the email channel by the end of this course.

  • You are computer savvy and comfortable with using computers & software.
  • You have a laptop/computer to implement course activities.
  • Microsoft Excel – for building report spreadsheets (Desirable)

Students do not need to have any previous experience in email marketing.

How to Enrol

Step 1 - Choose Your Course

  • Select the non-accredited short course you are interested in.
  • Find a day and time that suits your schedule.

Note: Enrolment is open to anyone 18 years or older.

Step 2 - Enrol and Verify

  • Click ‘Enrol Now’ after selecting your course and schedule.
  • Enter your details on the enrolment page.
  • Verify your email through a secure link sent to your email address.
  • Complete the secure checkout and payment process.

Step 3 - Receive Your Enrolment Details

  • You will receive an immediate enrolment confirmation email upon successful enrolment. Check and read the attached Terms and Conditions.

  • You will receive a course reminder email a day before your class begins.
  • For Online Zoom classes, a Zoom link and password will be emailed the day before class. Use the same link and password for subsequent sessions if applicable.
