Tech Savvy Seniors – Installing Apps on a Smartphone or Tablet – Sydney Course

Smart phones and tablets must be one of the most useful things ever invented. That is why almost everyone in the world now possesses a smartphone or a tablet. One thing that makes them so useful is the fact that smartphones and tablets can be customised to do whatever you want of them:

  • What time is the next train into the city?
  • ow long would it take me to drive to Byron Bay?
  • Where is the nearest ATM?
  • How do I say, “Where is the nearest toilet?” in Japanese?
  • Which way is North?

‘App’ is an abbreviation of ‘application.’ There is an app for just about everything – including ones that would answer all the questions above. Come along and find out more!
